The Switchboard accepts fictionalised reports about supernatural incidents from members of the public. This is intended primarily as a vehicle for viral advertising for other creatives working in horror and as a means of gathering participants and seeding clues for people running Alternative Reality Games and other mystery based media. XX Screenings Presented by The Final Girls & Soda Pictures: Press Release: "Feminist film collective The Final Girls partner with Soda Pictures to present a one-night-only nationwide screening of XX, the first and only all-female horror anthology.

On Wednesday 3 May, the highly anticipated anthology will take over screens across the UK for a single theatrical screening ahead of its DVD/VOD release on May 8. The film previously screened at Sundance Film Festival.

With shorts directed by genre heavyweights Karyn Kusama (The Invitation), Jovanka Vuckovic (The Captured Bird), Roxanne Benjamin (V/H/S, Southbound) and featuring the directorial debut of St. Vincent, this is a horror milestone. These tales of terror, blood and mayhem test the boundaries of what genre can be, loosely connected by the eerily beautiful animations of Sofia Carrillo. Whilst not directly related to one another, each short has a distinctly feminine theme, tackling and subtly subverting expectations placed on women and the roles they play.

The Final Girls will host a special presentation of the film at The Prince Charles CInema, London including a Skype Q&A with the filmmakers.

Confirmed screenings and events are detailed below. Tickets will be made available from each of the venue websites.

The Prince Charles Cinema, London

Hackney Picturehouse, London

Ritzy, London

Arts Picturehouse, Cambridge

Dukes of Komedia, Brighton

FACT, Liverpool

Cameo, Edinburgh

Broadway, Nottingham

Glasgow Film Theatre, Glasgow

Cube, Bristol

The screenings are made possible with thanks to Soda Pictures. XX will be released in the UK on DVD and VOD on May 8.

Beacon Point Trailer & Release Details: "Take a trip to Beacon Point this May when the highly-anticipated science-fiction thriller lands on VOD via Uncork'd Entertainment.

The film, called “an intelligent and interestingly innovative inferno of horror, science fiction, folklore and thrills”, hails from talented newcomer Eric Blue.
Zoe has quit her job to hike the Appalachian Trail as a tribute to her deceased father. She joins a small group of inexperienced hikers for an adventure of a lifetime. The group is, Dan, recently divorced and looking for a change from Silicon Valley, Cheese, a 17 year old kid, and Brian, his half brother he has just met. They are led by Drake, a hot headed trail master with a questionable past. They are upbeat as they set out on the ten day trek through the Great Smokey Mountains. Drake leads them away from the main trail and the tourists, promising a grand adventure and sights they’d never see with the standard tour. After a gruesome discovery, they become lost deep in the mountains. The adventure spins out of control when they are terrorized at their campsite by an unseen force.

Rae Olivier, Jon Briddell, Eric Goins, Jason Burkey, and RJ Shearer star in an Eric Blue film, written by Blue and Traci Carroll.

Beacon Point on VOD May 2 and DVD on July 4.

On DVD and VOD May 2."
