The dead have risen and they are neon-colored. The DVD and Digital HD release of The Neon Dead arrives nationwide on September 13th. Also in today's Highlights: a look at Titan Comics' Ravina the Witch?, the DVD and VOD release of Razors, and a new image from Clowntown.

The Neon Dead DVD and Digital HD Release Details and Cover Art: Press Release: "New York, NY - Wild Eye Releasing is flipping the switch with the DVD and Digital HD release of The Neon Dead. Synopsis:

New Image from Clowntown: “HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 2nd, 2016 – ITN Distribution, Inc. has acquired North American rights to the horror thriller CLOWNTOWN. Written by Jeff Miller (Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan) and directed by Tom Nagel (“The Retrieval”), the film stars Brian Nagel (Katy Perry’s “Roar”), Lauren Elise (Justin Lin’s “Help”), Andrew Staton (“Relentless”), Katie Keene (Union Furnace), Jeff Denton (The Beast of Bray Road) and Greg Violand (Batman v. Superman). CLOWNTOWN will roll out in theaters starting September 30th, 2016 and on VOD and DVD on October 4th, 2016. ITN Distribution’s President Stuart Alson made the announcement today.

“ITN Distribution is excited to bring CLOWNTOWN to North American audiences,” said Stuart Alson.

“Stuart and ITN want to help us scare people with our killer clowns, so we’re excited for them to be handing our North American distribution,” said Miller.

CLOWNTOWN tells the story of a group of friends who get stranded in a seemingly abandoned town and find themselves stalked by a gang of violent psychopaths dressed as clowns. It is loosely inspired by the clowns who terrorized Bakersfield, CA in 2014.

CLOWNTOWN was produced by Jeff Miller, Tom Nagel, Brian Nagel, Christopher Lawrence Chapman, and Ronnie D. Lee. Robert Kurtzman (creator of From Dusk Till Dawn) co-produced. David H. Greathouse (Syfy’s “Face/Off,” Tusk) handled the bulk of the makeup FX. Stuart Alson of ITN Distribution negotiated the deal along with Jeff Miller and CT Films LLC on behalf of the filmmakers. Archstone Distribution is handling foreign sales.”

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
