SCOTT SNYDER AND JOCK REUNITE FOR NEW DSTLRY SERIES YOU WON’T FEEL A THING DEBUTING THIS NOVEMBER: "DSTLRY, the next-generation publisher redefining creator-owned comic books and collectibles, today announced the surprise launch of its newest series, YOU WON’T FEEL A THING, from legends of horror Scott Snyder and Jock. Set to debut this November, this unexpected announcement was made today at San Diego Comic-Con during the Building New Worlds with DSTLRY panel.

This brutal noir reunites modern legends Scott Snyder and iconic artist Jock, the creative team behind Wytches—the most successful and resonant independent horror comic in decades, currently in production as an animated series at Amazon Studios. YOU WON’T FEEL A THING is edited by DSTLRY Founding Editor Will Dennis, known for his work at Vertigo on such landmark series as Y: The Last Man, Scalped, and 100 Bullets. Dennis previously worked with Snyder and Jock on DSTLRY's White Boat and Goneseries respectively, as well as Book of Evilfor comiXology and Wytchesfor Image Comics.

“You Won’t Feel A Thing is by far the most haunting and atmospheric project I’ve ever worked on," said co-creator and writer Scott Snyder. "The story is a descent into white-knuckle giallo and noir influences, with a healthy sheen of psychological (and very literal) horror. It’s a project that wouldn’t work on any level without Jock as a co-pilot, and we’ve been brainstorming and layering this deeply complex thriller into the twilight hours.”

Co-creator and artist Jock echoed Snyder's sentiments. "The claustrophobic, disorienting approach of YOU WON’T FEEL A THING is unlike anything we've done before. The oversized format of DSTLRY books allow us to push the boundaries of our creativity. This is a horror experience designed to blow minds and stop sleep. It’s an understatement to say I can’t wait for this to hit stands.”

You Won’t Feel A Thing follows Jack Bernard, an ailing, retired detective whose past comes back to haunt him. Decades ago, Jack was one of the most accomplished homicide detectives on the force, so dedicated that it cost him his family and personal life. Now Bernard wastes away in a retirement home with a brain tumor slowly sapping his mind of all memories. But when a disturbing serial killer case from his past reemerges, Jack must persevere, weaving together his remaining memories to stop a killer that only he believes exists. This sobering murder mystery explores the anguish of a man whose mind has turned against him as the body count threatens to rise.

"Collaborating with Scott and Jock is always a unique experience. Their combined talents bring out the best in each other, and You Won’t Feel A Thing is no exception. It feels great getting the band back together," said DSTLRY’s Founding Editor, Will Dennis.

Attendees at San Diego Comic-Con can pick up a free print of the upcoming series during Snyder and Jock’s joint signing at DSTLRY Booth #2314 on Saturday July 27th at 3:00 PM. The print is being given on a first come, first serve basis.
DSTLRY co-founders Chip Mosher and David Steinberger expressed their enthusiasm for the new series in a joint statement: "We are immensely proud to bring You Won’t Feel A Thing to audiences everywhere. Scott and Jock have crafted a narrative that is as innovative as it is thrilling. This series embodies DSTLRY's mission to empower creators to push the boundaries of their craft and deliver unforgettable stories."

You Won’t Feel A Thing is available for pre-order today via DSTRLY’s exclusive distribution deal with Diamond Comic Distributors and will hit shelves in local comic shops and digitally viawww.dstlry.co this November. This three-issue series is presented in DSTLRY’s perfect-bound Prestige format, featuring wraparound covers with spot gloss on robust cover stock, complemented by 48 pages of exquisite interior stock. “It’s the DSTLRY difference,” says DSTLRY CCO & Co-Founder ChipMosher.

Collectors can look forward to multiple covers, including limited edition variants and special incentives."

THE UNRAVELING: "Entertainment Squad has acquired worldwide rights to The Unraveling from AZ if Productions, and will release the film on October 8 under its genre label, The Horror Collective

Directed by Kd Amond, The Unraveling is a follow-up to the acclaimed film FAYE, (which set a precedent as America’s first one-woman feature length horror film), and continues the creative collaboration of Amond and Sarah Zanotti as a filmmaking team. Zanotti is both the co-writer and lead actor in both films. The Unraveling offers a chilling and deeply emotional exploration of trauma, paranoia, guilt, and love, through the lens of horror. It follows a woman who, after suffering a traumatic brain injury from a car accident, becomes convinced that her husband has been replaced by an impostor. Haunted by a gruesome presence and mysterious phone calls from someone claiming to be the "real" husband, she is thrust into a nightmare where she must navigate a labyrinth of fear, deception, and her own fragile sanity"

The Unraveling has already garnered critical acclaim for its atmospheric direction and gripping performances. Ivotres Littles of Horror Movies and Beyond praised it as "a dark, twisted story of a love that comes with a price," while Preston Fassel of Fangoria and Daily Grindhouse called it "moving, thoughtful, and poetic...and terrifying."

The Unraveling was produced by AZ if Productions, co-founded by Kd Amond and Sarah Zanotti. The film also features stunning cinematography by Seth Dunlap, who also portrays the ominous Shadow Figure.

&Quot;Zanotti is fantastic as the vulnerable lead. She plays the confusion and perceived threat to her well-being with absolute conviction," noted Bobby LePire of Film Threat. "The Unraveling is an entertaining, though intense ride."

"Amond and Zanotti have created an incredible psychological thriller," says film blogger Jason T Sparks, "One that even seasoned filmgoers who know to look for misdirects and twists will find overwhelming in the best of ways."

Actor and co-creator Sarah Zanotti approaches the film by asking, "What happens when the dream you're chasing suddenly becomes a nightmare? When the man you love suddenly becomes your enemy? When you can no longer recognize what's true because you’re so used to living a lie?" Zanotti explains, "The Unraveling is about a woman who is coming to terms with the horrifying consequences of denial."

"Some of the most intense scenes of The Unraveling were shot with our small skeleton crew while we were all snowed in during a random Nashville blizzard on location in this historic house on a hill," says director Kd Amond, "It made it all the more intense, as we were essentially, every bit as trapped as our protagonist!"

Entertainment Squad will be launching international sales for The Unraveling at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival. Sebastian Twardosz from Savant Artists negotiated the deal on behalf of AZ if Productions.

Entertainment Squad is a boutique distribution company founded by industry veteran Shaked Berenson. Previous releases include Tribeca's Audience Award Winner dramedy, Cherry, and SXSW Selection, Peak Season.

"A stunning, wonderfully surprising thriller," says Tyler Baker of Morbidly Beautiful, “The Unraveling kept me guessing and fully on the hook until its jaw-dropping conclusion."

The film stars Sarah Zanotti (FAYE) and Sam Brooks (Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy, CW’s Stargirl, Malum). The Unraveling showcases a powerful performance from Zanotti, whose portrayal of the lead character’s descent into madness is both haunting and compelling.

"The Unraveling combines psychological horror with a poignant narrative, creating a film that is both terrifying and deeply moving," said Entertainment Squad’s CEO, Shaked Berenson. "We are thrilled to bring this extraordinary story to audiences worldwide."

Director Kd Amond added, "With The Unraveling, we aimed to explore the dark and often overlooked aspects of trauma and its effects on the human psyche. There are spiritual undertones throughout the film as well, Sarah and I often incorporate these themes into our storytelling; it adds another layer of intrigue. Entertainment Squad’s dedication to unique and impactful storytelling truly makes them the perfect partner for this project."
