Laurence Fishburne Joining Hannibal TV Series?

The two lead characters of the Hannibal TV series have been cast, but it looks as if NBC is looking to add a strong supporting cast to the high-profile project. According to a new report, Laurence Fishburne is close to being cast. TVLine reveals that Laurence Fishburne is circling the role of Jack Crawford, "the agent-in-charge at the Behavioral Science Unit of the FBI who is tasked with tracking down a certain flesh-eating serial killer."

Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) has already signed on to play Hannibal Lecter and Hugh Dancy has been cast as FBI agent Will Graham. David Slade (30 Days of Night, Eclipse) will be directing the pilot episode and 13 one-hour episodes have already been ordered for the first season.
