A collaboration between Mondo and Middle of Beyond and emblazoned on a "100% acrylic heavy knit sweater", the Gremlins sweatshirt is now available to pre-order for $85.00 in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL. The sweatshirt is expected to ship next month. In a nice nod to the theater scene near the end of the first film, two of the sweatshirt's Gremlins wear a popcorn bag on their faces.
Joe Dante's 1984 horror-comedy classic is a fitting movie to be depicted on a holiday sweater, as the reptilian Gremlins wreaked havoc in Kingston Falls on Christmas Eve. Watching Gremlins has even become an unconventional Christmas tradition for viewers looking for a dark comedy take on the holiday with a bit of a body count.
