New Alien Game in Development?

We were really disappointed when SEGA cancelled Obsidian's Alien RPG project, and Gearbox's Colonial Marines game is in development hell, so we're glad to hear that that work is being done on a new Alien game. RPS has confirmed that developer Creative Assembly is currently working on an Alien action title for SEGA.

It has also been confirmed that the game is a specifically an Alien game and not a space marine-themed Aliens game. Creative Assembly's website now lists the fact that they are hiring for a new console project with the "Alien IP", and it has been made known that they are putting together a 200+ person team for the project. Unfortunately, that's all we know at this time, but we wonder if they are taking a page out of Dead Space 2's handbook for this title. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a reveal at this year's E3. Based on the fact that they seem to be pretty early in development, however, we may have to wait until next year. [Thanks Dtoid!]
