We have new casting updates for Resident Evil: Retribution, which includes the return of more familiar faces from past films.

We previously reported that Michelle Rodriguez, Colin Salmon, Sienna Guillory, and Boris Kodjoe were returing for the latest Resident Evil film, along with Milla Jovovich. A new story from Deadline reveals that Oded Fehr is returning, and it is safe to assume he'll be reprising his role as Carlos Olivera, regardless of what happened to him in Resident Evil: Extinction. Earlier reports revealed that Michelle Rodriguez and Colin Salmon will be returning as their original characters as well.

Shawn Roberts is confirmed to make his return as Albert Wesker, and there are two new additions to the cast. Kevin Durand has been cast in an unspecified role and Johann Urb has been cast as "the leader of the Resistance, who teams with Jovovich’s Alice character as she battles the Umbrella Corporation and the swarm of undead".

Resident Evil: Retribution starts filming in Toronto and will be released on September 14th, 2012. If you’d like to have a walk-on role role in the movie, Sony recently launched a casting call contest and is looking for video submissions.
