We were supposed to have already seen World War Z in theaters. It was originally scheduled for a Christmas 2012 release, but was pushed back due to extensive reshoots that were required.

We finally got our first good look at the movie when the trailer was released back in November and the movie has an official release date of June 21st. It's unlikely we'll see too much more of the movie over the next couple of months, but a new photo has been released and we have it for you to check out.

“World War Z tells the story of the world’s desperate battle against the zombie threat with a series of first-person accounts ‘as told to the author’ by various characters around the world. A Chinese doctor encounters one of the earliest zombie cases at a time when the Chinese government is ruthlessly suppressing any information about the outbreak that will soon spread across the globe. The tale then follows the outbreak via testimony of smugglers, intelligence officials, military personnel and many others who struggle to defeat the zombie menace.”

Based on the Max Brooks novel, World War Z is directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) and stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox, and James Badge.
