After being acquired by IFC back in September, Haunt will be released in the US next month. We have an update to our image gallery for the movie and have also include the official trailer for those that missed our earlier coverage.
"A family of five moves into a beautiful, sprawling dream home. One problem: it’s cursed, having caused the deaths of the previous family to occupy it, leaving only one survivor (Jacki Weaver). The moody 18-year-old son and his mysterious new neighbor/girlfriend inadvertently awaken something in the house while also violently shaking the many skeletons in the many closets. Mac Carter’s atmospheric debut feature is an unusually character-driven haunted-house film that isn't afraid to take the action outside. An IFC Midnight release."
Haunt was written by Andrew Barrer and directed by Mac Carter. The movie will be available first on digital services and video-on-demand on February 7th. It will then be given a limited theatrical release on March 7th. We expect a DVD/Blu-ray release to follow after shortly, but a date has not yet been set.
