We cover The Walking Dead Minimates pretty frequently and thought our readers would be interested in taking a look at the upcoming Strange Tales Minimates box set. This series focuses on the horror side of the Marvel universe, and includes retro versions of Blade, Morbius, Werewolf by Night, and Doctor Strange:

"The strangest set of Marvel Minimates ever just got a little stranger! Sorcerer Dr. Strange takes the spotlight on the new packaging for the Strange Tales box set, featuring Strange, First Appearance Blade, Werewolf by Night and Morbius the Living Vampire!

'In the Marvel Universe, being a hero often means putting on a costume and fighting crime, but in the dark corners of that world, real demons lurk. Earth’s Sorceror Supreme, Dr. Strange, protects this plane of existence from supernatural threats, assisted by the vampire hunter Blade, living vampire Michael Morbius, and Jack Russell, the Werewolf by Night.'

...The box set includes the first-ever Minimates of Jack Russell (a.k.a. Werewolf by Night) and Michael Morbius (a.k.a. Morbius the Living Vampire), as well as new, 1970s-style Minimates of Dr. Stephen Strange (the Sorceror Supreme of Earth) and Eric Brooks, better known as the vampire hunter Blade. Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation, and the set includes a variety or interchangeable parts and accessories, including a stake-throwing hand and alternate bare arms for Blade, spell-casting hands and an energy base for Dr. Strange, a flight base for Morbius and standard bases for all four."
