The eternal tormentor returns in Dimension Films' Hellraiser: Judgment, the tenth film in the franchise created by Clive Barker. With production currently underway on the project, the actor playing Pinhead has been revealed, along with the rest of the main cast, which includes an actress from another enduring horror franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Bloody Disgusting reports that Paul T. Taylor plays Pinhead in Hellraiser: Judgment. An actor with experience both on the stage and in front of the camera, Taylor has appeared in a number of films and TV shows, including Sin City, Deadroom, and Super. Hellraiser: Judgment director Gary J. Tunnicliffe told Fangoria that Taylor will bring "more than a hint of Peter Cushing and Ralph Fiennes" to the role of Pinhead.

A horror icon that has haunted generations of viewers, Pinhead was brought chillingly to life by Doug Bradley in the first eight Hellraiser films and was portrayed by Stephan Smith Collins in the latest entry in the franchise, 2011's Hellraiser: Revelations.

Heather Langenkamp, who many horror fans know as Nancy Thompson from the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Langenkamp will play a landlady in the new Hellraiser film, referred to as a chain-smoking character who "snorts obscenities to the police."

The cast for Hellraiser: Judgment also includes Feast director John Gulager as "The Assessor" and Mike J. Regan as Chatterer, as well as Damon Carney, Randy Wayne, Alexandra Harris, Diane Goldner, Andi Powers, Jeff Fenter, Helena Grace Donald, and Grace Montie.

Writer/director Tunnicliffe is no stranger to the Hellraiser franchise. He's worked as in makeup effects on nearly ninety films and TV shows, including The Hive, Gone Girl, Scream 4, Halloween: Resurrection, Lord of Illusions, Candyman, and several Hellraiser films—Hell on Earth, Bloodline, Hellseeker, Deader, Hellworld, and Revelations.

In addition to his prolific makeup effects career, Tunnicliffe also wrote the screenplay for Hellraiser: Revelations and penned two Hellraiser short films (Prophecy and Deader – Winter's Lament).
