Godzilla is currently in production and a number of set photos have made it online from locals who caught a glimpse of filming. However, Legendary Pictures has released an official set photo with the caption: "Be Prepared." Are these people responsible for Godzilla's creation or working on something to stop him? We'll know on May 16th, 2014.
As previously reported, Godzilla stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Richard T. Jones, David Strathairn, Sally Hawkins and Bryan Cranston. Gareth Edwards is directing the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham.
The movie will be released to US theaters on May 16th, 2014 and is expected to be presented in 3D. While Warner Bros. will be handling most of the worldwide rollout, Toho will be taking over for the Japanese release.
