Inspired by the (mostly) bygone days of driving to the video store and strolling the aisles for your next movie rental, last year's Slashback Video immersive art show was a must-see experience for horror fans (especially those who are nostalgic for ’80s VHS covers), and we're happy to spread the news that Slashback Video is returning to Burbank beginning this Saturday, September 8th, with Ciara and Ryan Turek teaming up with The Mystic Museum to once again showcase VHS-inspired artwork from a wide array of creative minds!

We have official details on Revenge of Slashback Video below, and to learn more, be sure to visit the event's official Facebook page.

From Bearded Lady's Mystic Museum: "It's back! The sequel to last fall's hit horror/VHS immersive art installation is coming. Doors open on our opening reception September 8th.

For those who don't know what Slashback Video is...

It's an ode to the VHS days of horror that's one part exhibit and one part art show. Step back in time to the 1980s/early-'90s when mom and pop video stores thrived and gaze upon a wide array of posters, VHS tapes, promos, laserdiscs and video games! All of this is brought to you by The Mystic Museum & Ciara and Ryan Turek.

Revenge of Slashback Video is sponsored by Bill Neil, Fangoria, Mixtape Massacre, Creepy Co., FRIGHT-RAGS, Scream Factory and Phantom Carriage Brewery.

Revenge of Slashback Video will also include a wide array of ORIGINAL ART inspired by cinema's greatest and obscure slasher films!

$10 at door.

Please Follow us on instagram for sneak peeks and more! @slashbackvideo @themysticmuseum and be sure to throw a "like" at the official Slashback Video page!"
