Back in April, Scream Factory kicked off the month with several new Blu-ray announcements for July, and now they're getting May off to a scary good start with three new Blu-ray announcements for August: Dark Castle's Ghost Ship (2002), Hammer's 1962 The Phantom of the Opera adaptation, and the sixth volume of the Universal Horror Collection (featuring The Black Castle, Cult of the Cobra, The Thing That Couldn't Die, and The Shadow of the Cat).

All three new Blu-rays are slated to come out this August, and while special features will be revealed at a later date, you can check out the official announcements and cover art below (via Facebook):

Ghost Ship Collector's Edition Blu-ray: "Set sail this Summer and cruise the deadly seas on the GHOST SHIP – the gruesome 2002 thriller (with an unforgettable opening scene). Coming to Blu-ray from us in an all-new definitive Blu-ray release!

Details we have currently are as follows:

• National street date for North America (Region A) is Aug 18th.

• This is being presented as a Collector’s Edition release and will come guaranteed with a slipcover in its first three months of release.

• The newly commissioned artwork you see pictured comes to us from artist Joel Robinson. This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will feature the original theatrical artwork.

• New extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date (July timing, and also depending on current events).

The Phantom of the Opera (1962) Collector's Edition Blu-ray: "Our love for Hammer Films continues with an upgraded version of 1962’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA starring Herbert Lom & Michael Gough. Coming soon to Blu-ray from us in an all-new definitive edition!
