After tormenting the Oswalt family in 2012's Sinister, the malevolent Buhguul still seeks more children to join him on the other side. Hitting theaters late this summer, Sinister 2 sees Buhguul swiveling his attention to a mother (Shannyn Sossamon) and her twin 9-year-old boys, who have just moved into a country home where bumps heard in the night really could be the boogeyman. We have three new photos from the upcoming horror sequel that tease the return of Buhguul and his young, undead followers.
Directed by Ciaran Foy (Citadel) from a screenplay co-penned by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill (the pair that scribed the original Sinister), Sinister 2 hits theaters on August 21st. In addition to Sossamon, Sinister 2 stars real life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan, as well as James Ransone reprising his role as the Deputy (referred to as Deputy So-and-So in the original film).
