Back in 2009, Stephen King mentioned that he was considering writing a sequel to The Shining, but now it is official. The title of the novel is Dr. Sleep and it involves "a traveling group of Vampires called The Tribe".

During his appearance at George Mason University last weekend, Stephen King read a chapter from the book and we've include a video of it below. The story is said to feature Danny Torrence as an adult and a group of vampires called "The Tribe" that feed on psychic energy. There are no more official details at this time, but we'll provide an update as soon as more information is released.
