After a number of teaser posters and casting announcements, we now have first trailer for The Devil's Carnival. The latest film from director Darren Lynn Bousman is said to be a rock opera similar to Repo! The Genetic Opera.

THR reveals that The Devil's Carnival is a 55-minute short film that will be presented to audiences with a 30-city tour starting this April: "Bousman is planning a 30-city rock tour beginning in April, turning venues into environments that tie to the movie and that will encourage audience participation."

It is also noted that there will be a 13-song album release to coincide with the film's premiere. The cast includes Bill Moseley, Marc Senter and Clown (Slipknot), Taryn Manning, Ivan Moody, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Ogre, Paul Sorvino, Emilie Autumn, Sean Patrick Flanery, J. LaRose, and Terrence Zduninch.
