**Updated** Although Telltale Games co-founder and CEO Dan Connors told Eurogamer that we'd see Season 2 in fall 2014, it has been confirmed that he misspoke and we'll see a release in 2013. Here's Telltale Game's statement via Game Informer:

"The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for Telltale’s series."

That may be a long wait for Season 2, but Telltale is working on some content to hold us over until then. Writer Gary Whitta recently teased new content during an interview with IGN:

“I can tell you what you already know, which is season two is coming. There’s not much to say because it really is very early…it’s a way off... But, knowing that it’s a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead…there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.” Whitta continued to tease that something is in the works right now “that will make the wait for season two slightly less agonizing.”

E3 isn’t too far off, so hopefully we’ll have a full reveal by June or earlier. Episodes 1 – 5 of The Walking Dead video game are available for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and iOS.
