The Frighteners Blu-ray Announced

Universal Studios has announced that a Blu-ray edition of The Frighteners will be released on September 13th. According to Hi-Def Digest, the Blu-ray will include:

"...both the theatrical cut and the director's cut (adding 23 minutes to the film) in 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Peter Jackson Intro, The Making of The Frighteners, Feature Commentary with Director Peter Jackson, Storyboards, My Scenes, and Pocket BLU."

The current retail price is $26.98, but keep an eye out at various retailers between now and September for a lower price.
