After further exploring the violent effects of the New Founding Fathers of America through two seasons, The Purge TV series (from Blumhouse Television and Universal Cable Productions) will not be moving forward with a third season at USA Network, as the series has been officially canceled.

Deadline reports that The Purge was not renewed for a third season due to low viewership in the second season and the network's transition from "ongoing scripted series toward more live and unscripted programming, along with 'eventized' scripted projects."

We'll have to wait and see if The Purge TV series is picked up by another network or streaming service, but at this time, nothing has been announced.

In the meantime, a fifth Purge movie, titled The Forever Purge, will be coming out, although its previous July 10th release could be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
