After a successful launch at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, The Walking Dead Escape was set to launch in Philadelphia later this month. Due to a scheduling conflict that arose, the event has been postponed until next year. Here is the official statement that was released:

"The Walking Dead Escape, scheduled to take place Saturday, October 27 at Wells Fargo Center Complex, has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict. All registrants will receive an email within 10 business days outlining the available options.

The Zombie Apocalypse can’t be stopped; be wise and use this time to prepare…you’ll need it.

Stay quick, stay sharp, stay human."

When asked for more information, we were also provided with the following:

"Let us start off by saying that we sincerely apologize for having to reschedule this event.  The decision to reschedule is based on both a number of logistical challenges and our commitment to providing our participants with a quality Apocalypse experience.  We will be sending email correspondence in the next 10 days with further information regarding a new date and instruction on how to transfer, or receive a full refund for your ticket price.

Again - we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. We are looking forward to holding an unparalleled Escape in Philly in the very near future."

We had a great time at the San Diego event and would rather have them take the time to make it perfect than rush anything at a new venue. We'll post more information on the new date as soon as it becomes official. For more information on The Walking Dead Escape, please visit:  www.thewalkingdeadescape.com
