Even though The Walking Dead Season 2 is taking a mid-season break after episode 7, filming of the 13-episode second season has already wrapped up. Extra Casting Atlanta made the announcement via their Facebook page and thanked extras who worked on Season 2:

"We would like to thank all our extras, stand ins, & photo doubles for all their hard work on Season 2 of The Walking Dead. It has been a true pleasure working with an an amazing cast and crew. Please keep watching and we will let you know when we start prepping Season 3. love, Janel and Patrick"

Norman Reedus also Tweeted about the end of filming, saying: "Season 2 that's a wrap!!!!! Gonna be amazing !!!!!!"

After Sunday's mid-season finale, Season 2 returns with its first new episode on Sunday, February 12th.
