We're always keeping an eye on what's going on with Ti West, as he's a horror director that continues to impress with each new project and it was just revealed that he's heading to the old west for In a Valley of Violence. According to THR, John Travolta and Ethan Hawke are up for the lead roles and this will be a Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity series, Sinister, The Purge) production.

It has been confirmed that Ti West will both write and direct the movie, which is said to be a "revenge Western film set in the 1890s." Being that it's coming from Ti West and Jason Blum, we wouldn't be surprised if this ventures into horror territory and we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on any developments.

In the meantime, horror fans have The Sacrament to look forward to. The most recent movie from Ti West has screened at a number of film festivals and Magnet has planned a limited theatrical release on June 6th, with a digital services and VOD release on May 1st.
