Later this month, horror fans will find out what lurks in the catacombs beneath Paris when As Above, So Below arrives in theaters. Ahead of the movie's upcoming release, Universal has given us a look at two clips and behind-the-scenes footage.

Miles of twisting catacombs lie beneath the streets of Paris, the eternal home to countless souls. When a team of explorers ventures into the uncharted maze of bones, they uncover the secret of what this city of the dead was meant to contain. A journey into madness and terror, As Above, So Below reaches deep into the human psyche to reveal the personal demons that come back to haunt us all.

Written by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle (Quarantine, Devil) and directed by John Erick Dowdle, the psychological thriller is produced by Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Patrick Aiello and Drew Dowdle. Alex Hedlund serves as the executive producer.”

As Above, So Below stars Perdita Weeks (The Invisible Woman), Ben Feldman (2009′s Friday the 13th), and Edwin Hodge (The Purge). The movie will open in US theaters on August 29th and we've included the previously released trailer for those that missed it.
