Universal’s new Dracula movie was previously known as Dracula: Year Zero and then Dracula. Now, we're being told that the new official title is Dracula Untold. Gary Shore will direct the film from a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Dracula will star Luke Evans in the lead role, along with Zach McGowan, Dominic Cooper, and Sarah Gadon:
via THR: “The script tells of a young prince who, when the lives of his wife and child are put in danger by a bloodthirsty sultan, risks his soul to save them, and in the process becomes the first vampire.”
Dracula Untold will be released on October 3rd, 2014. Other horror movies planned for October next year include Fox's Frankenstein on October 17th and Paranormal Activity 5 on October 24th.
