Although The Walking Dead Season 10 finale won't air until later this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AMC has released a tense clip from the upcoming finale that features combat with the Whisperers and a big surprise at the end [spoiler warning].
The final episode of season 10 was originally scheduled to air on Sunday, April 12th, but as previously reported, post-production on the episode has been pushed back due to the coronavirus, so it will instead air later this year.
In the meantime, as a special treat for fans, AMC released a clip from the finale that you can watch below, featuring the return of Lauren Cohan as Maggie Greene, who previously left the Hilltop to give her life a fresh start.
At last year's New York Comic Con, it was announced that Cohan would be returning to AMC's The Walking Dead in season 11 as a series regular, and the new clip confirms that Maggie is indeed heading back home to defend her friends.
A premiere date for The Walking Dead Season 10 finale has not been announced at this time, but we'll be sure to keep you updated as more news is revealed.
You can watch the new clip below, as well as a promo video for the season 10 finale and a new behind-the-scenes video, and in case you missed it, check here to catch up on our previous coverage of The Walking Dead Season 10.
