Paranoia and distrust threaten to implode a militia group after a mysterious mass shooting in The Standoff at Sparrow Creek, the first feature film from writer/director Henry Dunham. Following the movie's well-received US premiere at Fantastic Fest, the official trailer for The Standoff at Sparrow Creek has been unveiled by Collider, giving viewers a deeper look at the film's bleak atmosphere and intense performances (including James Badge Dale as the answer-seeking Gannon).

Written and directed by Henry Dunham, The Standoff at Sparrow Creek stars James Badge Dale, Brian Geraghty, Patrick Fischler, Chris Mulkey, Happy Anderson, and Robert Aramayo. RLJE Films will release The Standoff at Sparrow Creek on VOD, Digital HD, and in theaters on January 18th.

Synopsis: "After a mass shooting at a police funeral, reclusive ex-cop Gannon realizes that the killer belongs to the same militia he joined after quitting the force. Knowing the police will be closing in on them, Gannon quarantines his fellow militiamen in a remote lumber mill. There, he sets about a series of grueling interrogations, intent on ferreting out the killer and turning him over to the authorities to prevent further bloodshed."
