One of the bigger events of this year's E3 Expo was the revealing of Nintendo's newest console system, the Wii U. Due out in 2012, their new console system has enough power to allow it to run the same types of games developers would traditionally save for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
This should give Nintendo fans a chance to play some of the top horror games on their console of choice and one developer interested in the possibility of getting their games on the Wii U is Valve.
While talking with Joystiq, Valve's Gabe Newell he talked about the possibility of Valve games for the Wii U: "It sort of fits better into the scalability in terms of graphics performance and CPU performance, so I think it'll be a lot easier for us to fit it into our scalability model.... We've always loved Nintendo"
While it isn't a definite, many publishers and developers are currently looking at possible release strategies for the Wii U. If the system is successful, we should definitely see future Valve releases and hopefully past releases on the Wii U.
