With Dark Shadows's release date set for May 11th, we've been wondering when we'd see the first trailer. Thankfully, it appears that the trailer will premiere this Thursday. However, you're going to have to watch a specific TV show to see it first...
The Thursday, March 15th episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show is said to have the exclusive premiere:
"Also, Ellen has the exclusive trailer for the new Tim Burton film, 'Dark Shadows,' starring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Helena Bonham Carter!"
Of course, we expect it to be released online shortly after and will have a copy for you to watch as soon as it is available. Directed by Tim Burton, Dark Shadows stars Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Jonny Lee Miller, Chloe Moretz, Jackie Earle Haley, Gulliver McGrath, and Bella Heathcote.
“In the year 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins, with young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool, England to start a new life in America. But even an ocean was not enough to escape the mysterious curse that has plagued their family. Two decades pass and Barnabas (Johnny Depp) has the world at his feet—or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy…until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Brouchard (Eva Green).
