“Actor AARON MUÑOZ joins THE WALKING DEAD as TONY in AMC’S hit show return

Hollywood, CA (January 23, 2012) Actor AARON MUÑOZ Guest Stars with MICHAEL RAYMOND JAMES (True Blood, Terriers) in the Midseason Premiere of AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD on February 12th, 9/8c.

Muñoz plays a new character, TONY, who is one of two new survivors about to enter Rick’s world. AMC aired a sneak peek clip during the HELL ON WHEELS finale, showing Muñoz and Raymond James walking in on Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Hershel (Scott Wilson) after a heated exchange.

Robert Kirkman, Executive Producer, says of the new characters at the Winter TCA press tour (via bloody-disgusting.com)

“I don’t want to reveal too much but I would say that it would be fairly unusual for those two people to be out there alone…Anyone who’s familiar with the comic book series knows that while the zombies are threatening and terrifying and do represent a tremendous amount of danger for our characters, nothing compares to the danger that humans hold for each other.”

In addition to Muñoz’s credits onstage in Chicago, NY and numerous regional theatres, he has started to land more television and film work; firing Chuck Berry (Mos Def) from a gig in CADILLAC RECORDS and playing two different characters in the award winning indie feature THE GADARENE SWINE.

The Walking Dead’s second season returns with all-new episodes Sun., Feb. 12 at 9/8c on AMC.

Aaron Muñoz is represented by Stewart Talent (Agent)
