Ridley Scott is busy promoting Prometheus and recently appeared at a press conference in Paris with Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, and Charlize Theron. We have a video of the entire Q&A session, which includes talk about the characters in the movie, running time and more.

For those that are wondering how the Prometheus running time would compare to Alien's length, they will be about the same. Alien is 117 minutes in length and Ridley Scott said that he believes Prometheus will be at 1 hour and 59 minutes with end titles.

“Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. With ‘Prometheus’ he creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.”

Prometheus will arrive in theaters on June 8th and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, and Idris Elba. Catch up on our Prometheus coverage with the following articles:
