During The Game Awards, Hideo Kojima fans received an early holiday treat with a new trailer for the anticipated video game Death Stranding.

Initially announced at E3 earlier this year, Death Stranding will feature 4K graphics and stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Guillermo del Toro, with the latter two revealed in the new trailer (in which Mikkelsen has a look somewhat similar to his Kaecilius character from Doctor Strange).

Death Stranding marks a reunion of sorts for Reedus, Kojima, and del Toro, who were once all set to collaborate on the scrapped Silent Hills video game.

Specific release details for Death Stranding, which will be released for PlayStation platforms, have not been officially announced, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on further details.
