Back in June, Konami announced Silent Hill: Book of Memories as the first multiplayer co-op title in the Silent Hill series. Developed by WayForward Technologies, Book of Memories will be released exclusively to the PlayStation Vita handheld system.

A new video has been released by WayForward that provides an introduction to the game story, talks about how this will tie into the Silent Hill universe, and we also get to see some live gameplay action. The Vita will be released stateside in early 2012, so Book of Memories won't see release until Q1 2012 at the earliest.
