If you liked Sharktopus, Dinoshark and Shark Swarm, you'll be excited to hear that the co-producers of those movies have formed a new production company. Stephen Niver and Robert James Roessel have formed Monster Machine and have already lined up a new slate of films, including Arachnaconda, Grizzligator, Sea Scorpions and Maneater Mountain.
Writers Matthew Chernov and David Rosiak have been hired to work on the scripts for these films and they are expected to be released on video, cable and VOD. Each film will have a budget of between $1-3 million and Arachnaconda is the first project moving forward. The film will be directed by and star Lou Diamond Phillips. Expect more information on these projects in the coming months.
