The title "Orgasmageddon" speaks for itself. My senses were immediately overtaken by the Conan-the-Barbarian-meets Masters-of-the-Universe-meets-Mad-Max-style cover artwork by Jonathan Brandon Sawyer. Not to mention, Matt Maguire and Matt Miner's really fun storyline submerged me into the band's very rad fictional adventures.
This first issue was humorous, bloody fun, and if this is what every issue of Gwar: Orgasmageddon is going to be like, I definitely look forward to reading more. Whether you are familiar with the band or not, I think there is something for everyone to enjoy here. I would also like to mention the stunning coloring by Marissa Louise and Doug Garbark, as well as the design by Taylor Esposito. This team really put together something quite magical!
