Previously known as The Conjuring, James Wan's latest horror film is now referred to as The Warren Files. Variety reports that Mackenzie Foy and Joey King have joined the cast of the film as children in the Perron family.

The Warren Files "is inspired by the true-life story of the Perron family, who claimed they ‘lived among the dead’ in the 1970s as spirits both friendly and sinister inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse.”

Previous casting announcements revealed that Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, and Lili Taylor have been cast in the film. Livingston and Taylor will play the role of Mr. and Mrs. Perron.

A sequel to Insidious was officially announced last week, but James Wan will be moving forward with this project first. Filming is expected to begin on February 21st in North Carolina.
