Every year, FX's American Horror Story is shrouded in mystery, but little by little the hints are revealed, and while fans flock to San Diego for Comic-Con (including an immersive American Horror Story experience), the anthology series' co-creator Ryan Murphy has revealed the title and premiere date for American Horror Story Season 7.
On Twitter, Murphy announced that American Horror Story is titled Cult, and it will premiere on Tuesday, September 5th.
A new video for the seventh season was also posted to the show's official Facebook page, revealing what looks to be an identically dressed cult wearing clown makeup and swaying to and fro.
We'll have to wait until September 5th to get initiated into Murphy's Cult, but the co-creator has already mentioned that the election year will play a key role in the series this season, which stars Sarah Paulson, Lenna Denham, Evan Peters, Lena Dunham, Alison Pill, Billy Eichner, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Colton Haynes,Cheyenne Jackson and Leslie Grossman.
