Gold Circle Films' next Haunting entry, The Haunting in Georgia, has announced a shooting date and cast list. First time director Tom Elkins, will begin shooting later this month with Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax), Abigail Spencer (Mad Men), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck), and Emily Alyn Lind starring.
The Hollywood Reporter has received a description of the film's plot:
"The four play the members of the real-life Wyrick family, beleaguered by ghosts and a terrifying mystery that haunts their new home.... Murray portrays Andy Wyrick, the blue collar, no-nonsense husband to Spencer's Lisa Wyrick, a young mother struggling with horrifying visions, a curse she shares with her wayward sister Joyce (Sackhoff) and now fears has been passed on to her young daughter Heidi (Lind)."
