I'm really loving the Wolfenstein vibe we're getting from the Overlord trailer, and with it playing Fantastic Fest later this month, we'll be getting word from our own Heather Wixson on what to expect. There will be plenty of Overlord coverage coming soon, but until then Paramount has shared a brand new poster.

Overlord was directed by Julius Avery and stars Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, Pilou Asbæk, John Magaro, and Mathilde Ollivier. The screenplay was written by Billy Ray and Mark L. Smith, based on a story by Billy Ray. Executive producers include Jo Burn, Jon Cohen and Cory Bennett Lewis, and the movie was produced by J.J. Abrams & Lindsey Weber.

"On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success. But as they approach their target, they begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. They find themselves fighting against supernatural forces, part of a Nazi experiment."

Overlord will be released to theaters on November 9th and it will be getting an IMAX release as well.
