HOUSEWARES:
Horror Decor: Even though I just mentioned them, it’s worth noting that Horror Decor is one of the best resources out there for all your horror-related home needs, as they have a variety of products that range from candles to pillows to ornaments (which covers the other section of today’s HGG) to stockings – and so much more. Because they make everything by hand, all orders for Christmas should be received by December 5th for US orders, so don’t delay in getting your holiday shopping done with HD!
Sourpuss: Sourpuss is mostly known for their clothing and accessories, but they have a killer selection of housewares as well. If you’re in the market for some new goodies for your kitchen, bedroom or even the bathroom, Sourpuss has you covered. Oh, and I am madly in love with their Werewolf ornament, so I thought I would mention they have a really fun selection ornaments and other holiday wares too!
Halloween Town: While their brick-and-mortar storefront may be based in Burbank, you don’t have to live in Southern California to shop Halloween Town, which is one of my very favorite places on Earth. I can spend hours just wandering around their store, and they have a ton of great horror-fied decorations and accessories for your home too, most of which are available to ship. Check out their entire selection of diabolical decor today! Oh, and they also carry a creepy Krampus ornament too that would look great on any horror fans’ tree this year!
Working Class Punx: If you want to add some frightful flavor to your kitchen, check out the horror-themed oven mitts and potholders from Working Class Punx. They’ve got a great variety of designs and their prices are very affordable to boot.
ORNAMENTS:
Middle of Beyond: I’ve been covering Middle of Beyond’s ornaments for a few years now on our annual HGG, and for good reason: they are awesome. In fact, I’ve even gifted a few people with them too, and they usually get a great reaction (especially their wicked Krampus ornament and the Bill and Ted ornament which was a big hit with some friends last year). This year, they’ve added a few new items to their inventory, including an Evil Dead 2 chainsaw, the Phantasm Sentinel Sphere, and a Halloween knife.
HorrorNaments: I just discovered HorrorNaments a few months ago, and I wish I could buy pretty much their entire selection of ornaments, especially their pair of Ghostface decorations. If you’re a horror fan and want to celebrate your favorite genre on your tree this year, be sure to check out HorrorNaments – and if you’re not really into the Christmas thing, these would be perfect on Halloween tree next October too.
Trick or Treat Studios: The fiends at Trick or Treat Studios recently announced that they’re going to be releasing several ornaments that pay homage to some of the great icons of our genre – Michael Myers, Leatherface, Jigsaw and Sam from Trick ‘r Treat. They still haven’t gone up for sale on the ToTS site just yet, but be sure to keep your eyes peeled for them to go live soon (and hopefully in time for the holidays).
Hallmark: Admittedly, for 2018, Hallmark isn’t offering up a ton of great ornament options for us horror and sci-fi fans out there, but there are still a handful worth mentioning from this year’s selection including some adorable selections for The Nightmare Before Christmas and Scooby-Doo, as well as The Walking Dead and a few genre-adjacent ornaments that fans might enjoy as well.
