One of my favorite films out of Fantastic Fest 2017 was Anna and the Apocalypse, so I am beyond stoked that John McPhail’s ambitious and highly infectious Christmas-themed zombie musical is arriving in select theaters this weekend, and will be hitting more cities on December 7th as part of the film’s nationwide rollout, as it’s an experience that deserves to be seen on a big screen and in a packed theater.

And on Friday, November 30th, this writer is thrilled to be hosting a special Q&A following the 7 PM screening of Anna and the Apocalypse at the AMC Century City, with McPhail and Anna co-star Chris Leveaux in attendance. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you can purchase your tickets HERE for what’s sure to be an awesome way to kick off the holiday season – and I do hope to see you there, LA horror fans!

Synopsis: "A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other..."
