If you’re like me and love showcasing your love of the genre through the artwork you adorn your walls with, then today’s installment of Daily Dead’s Holiday Gift Guide should be right up your proverbial alley. We’re shining the spotlight on several familiar sites that have some excellent horror and sci-fi themed prints and original art that pay tribute to some of the greatest cinematic genre films of all time (and a few under-loved movies make their way into the mix, too). Also, we’re featuring several new sites (and artists) that I’ve come across this year, as there just seems to be an endless array of talent out there that I’m hoping more folks will discover.

And while the holiday season might be all about the spirit of giving, I don’t think Santa will be too mad if you end up doing a little shopping from this handy guide for yourself, so be sure to check out all that these sites have to offer (below is just a preview).

Also, just another friendly reminder that Daily Dead is once again giving away prize packs of movies and some horror goodies for 10 lucky readers, thanks to this year’s HGG sponsor, RLJE Films. Winners will receive one copy of the upcoming Christmas anthology All the Creatures Were Stirring, one other title from RLJE Films, and a few other horror-tastic surprises, all just in time for the holidays. To enter, send an email to contest@dailydead.com with “Holiday Gift Guide” in the subject line, and be sure to include your full name and mailing address as well (limited to those who are eighteen years of age or older that live in the United States. Only one entry per household will be accepted).
