While many horror fans likely already had September 26th circled in blood-red ink on their calendars for the anticipated premiere of the new Creepshow series, the streaming service Shudder has unleashed the episode even earlier than expected today.
Featuring the segments "Gray Matter" (based on a Stephen King short story) and "The House of the Head" (based on a Josh Malerman short story) and clocking in at a little over 45 minutes, the first episode of the new Creepshow series is now available to stream on Shudder, giving horror fans the chance to enjoy the latest installment to the beloved Creepshow franchise that began with George A. Romero and Stephen King's 1982 anthology film.
Comprised of two segments apiece, a new episode of Creepshow will be released on Shudder every Thursday through Halloween night.
Showrunner and executive producer (as well as one of the show's directors) Greg Nicotero shared the early announcement with some appropriately spooky artwork on Instagram (see below).
