THE DEMON DETECTIVE, a chilling feature from Writer/Director T.C. De Wit, has landed with Gravitas Ventures for North American rights and a September 26 release on Apple and additional streamers as well as cable VOD. Among the ensemble cast are Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day) and Adrienne Barbeau (“Duster,” The Fog).

Miles Mako (Dustyn Gulledge, “Silicon Valley”) stars as the titular detective, a Catholic outcast turned supernatural mercenary who makes a living as a professional exorcist. But when a new client (Dani J. Scott, “NCIS: Origins”) encounters a demon tied to Miles’ past, he must face the evil he’s been running from and pay his rent.

Eugene Young, (“KPop Demon Hunters”), Matt Rasku (“The Pitt”), Tom Virtue (“Even Stevens”), Phil Tyler (“Hacks”) and Joy Regullano (“The Lincoln Lawyer”) also star.

Synopsis: Miles Mako is a Catholic outcast turned supernatural exorcist for hire. He makes a living banishing ghosts, specters, and dark spirits alongside his partner, Pin. When Clara, a new client, encounters a demonic presence and hires the Demon Detective, Miles begins to realize that this case and others he’s been taking may have connections to his tortured past. Sooner or later, he will have to face the evil he’s been running from his whole life. And if he’s lucky, pay his rent.
