"A town overrun by ghosts would be enough of a problem, but Hellboy has an even bigger problem on his hands when a fellow B.P.R.D. agent disappears amongst the paranormal chaos."
Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: The Ghost Ships of Labrador #1 is available on November 12th from Dark Horse Comics, but we have an exclusive preview you can read right now! The new Hellboy Universe adventure is written by Mike Mignola and Rob Williams, featuring art by Laurence Campbell, colors from Lee Loughridge, and letters by Clem Robins.
Laurence Campbell is the perfect artist for all the paranormal chaos in this latest Hellboy adventure, and Campbell provided us with a quote on the experience of creating the art for this new mini-series:
"Drawing this Hellboy and the BPRD two parter felt like a classic spooky season story to me with Hellboy and Abe. I've worked with writer Rob Williams a number of times including Sword of Hyperborea, he's so good at writing that balance of humour and horror and I think it comes across really well here. It's also good to be back working with Clem Robins on letters and Colours by Lee Loughridge, always a pleasure working with them both.
There's twists and turns and the issues have a lot of heart. It's always good seeing Abe and Hellboy together and we also got to introduce a new BPRD character.
The story gave me the opportunity to draw fog which is something I enjoyed experimenting with along with textures." -- Laurence Campbell
