Weekend Box Office Update

The newest Ice Age film took the top spot at the box office this weekend, earning an estimated $46 million. The Amazing Spider-Man may not have received the best reviews or fan reactions, but took second place with a solid $35 million this weekend and crossed the $200 million mark since opening.

The R-rated comedy Ted continues to hold strong at third place with $22 million, but there were no other standout results in the top 10. Next weekend's big release is The Dark Knight Rises and we are looking forward to seeing how it compares to The Dark Knight's opening weekend. Here are the top 10 results for this weekend:
