If you've been holding off on buying The Walking Dead video game and own a PlayStation 3, you might be able to pick up the first two episodes for free this month.

The official PlayStation blog announced that, as part of their August updates and promotions, PlayStation Plus members will have The Walking Dead video game Episodes 1 and 2 added to their Instant Game Collection. Each episode is normally $4.99, so that's not a bad deal if you are already a member.

For those that haven't been keeping up on our recent coverage, we've included information and videos from Episodes 1 and 2 below. Episode 3 will be released in late August.

Episode 1: A New Day- An untold story set in the world of The Walking Dead follows convicted criminal Lee Everett; a man given a second chance at life in a world gone to hell. With danger around every corner, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world of true horror.

Episode 2: Starved For Help- With starvation and bandit attacks as much of a threat as the undead, you will learn what you're willing to resort to in order to survive. As things become ever more desperate, the group is offered food from strangers, but at what cost?
