It seemed unlikely that Episode 4 of The Walking Dead video game would be released this month and we now have a status update on the next two episodes and a boxed release. According to IGN, Telltale Games will be releasing Episode 4, titled Around Every Corner, this October.

Unfortunately, a specific release date wasn't provide, but we know that isn't possible at this time. Similar to the other episodes, this one will also go through a certification process on various platforms and must be approved by Microsoft/Sony before being released to the public.

Joining Episode 4 in October will be the release of Episode 3 to iOS devices. It was also recently revealed that we'll be getting a box release of all five episodes this December, for those that are waiting to play it all at once. That means that we should see the release of Episode 5, titled No Time Left, in late November or early December.

Based on earlier comments from Telltale Games and the success of the first three episodes, don't expect episode 5 to be the end of The Walking Dead video game series. Episodes 1-5 are referred to as a first season and we think it's very likely that a second season will be released next year. For those looking for a bit more action, we also have a separate FPS video game being developed at Activision that takes place in the world of the TV series and follows Daryl Dixon.
