It looks like the home invasion formula is going to get a little shake-up, courtesy of Carey and Shane Van Dyke (Dick Van Dyke's grandsons). According to Deadline, New Line Films has just purchased a script from the two, titled "The Watching Hour", that is "described as a home invasion film, only with aliens". The script has been purchased with the intention to turn this into a feature film, but there are no additional details at this time.
