With The Green Inferno filming in the Amazon early next month, we're starting to hear more about the movie. The latest feature from Eli Roth involves a group of Americans who run into a tribe of cannibals and we have the first casting news.

According to Variety, here are the actors and actresses who are in negotiations to appear in the film: Daryl Sabara (Spy Kids), Kirby Bliss Blanton (Project X), Lorenza Izzo (Aftershock), Ariel Levy (Aftershock), Aaron Burns, Magda Apanowicz (Caprica), and Sky Ferreira.

The script was written by Roth and Guillermo Amoedo, and follows "a naive group of student activists from New York City who travel to the remote jungles of Peru, where they plan to stage a protest, but instead encounter a tribe of cannibals".

This will be the first feature  film for Eli Roth since 2007's Hostel: Part II and we're excited to see him back in the director's chair. He just recently spoke about getting ready to film in a remote village off of the Amazon river and you can read more about that at: http://dailydead.com/eli-roth-talks-the-green-inferno/
